Every year, once Obon has passed, we start thinking a little about autumn clothing. Perfectly suited to that mood, we've created denim easy tuck pants.

With just the right thickness and a soft feel, these pants are easy to reach for through the last of summer's heat and into early autumn, making them a truly seasonless piece. Despite their relaxed fit, the tucks make your legs look beautiful, and the deep-colored denim pairs wonderfully with the shirts and blouses you'll want to wear come fall.

We chose a lightweight 8oz (ounce) denim fabric. With comfort as our priority, we selected a fabric with a soft feel.

This piece uses piece-dyed denim with a washer finish, so while it has just the right amount of body, it also feels comfortable against the skin. We think it's an easy fabric to wear even for those who normally avoid denim because they find it too stiff.

At 8oz, it leans toward the lighter side, but it still has that distinctive denim character while remaining just the right thickness for easy movement.

This denim fabric is crafted by a long-established denim maker with over 40 years of history. Woven at a factory in Kojima, Okayama, this carefully made denim uses yarn with few neps, giving it the suppleness unique to high-quality cotton. The gentle texture created by the washer finish is another appealing feature.

You can also enjoy watching the denim change over time as it ages. Choose from two colors: INDIGO and BLACK.

A versatile shape that goes with any top

INDIGO

A comfortable elastic waistband, with gathered tucks that serve as an accent to the overall look. Whether paired with a compact top or worn tucked in with an oversized T-shirt, the distinctive tucks on the bottoms let you style them beautifully either way.

"I like denim and own quite a few pairs, but my first impression was that this is softer than what you'd typically imagine denim to be! I actually like the slightly snug feeling you get from denim, the way it makes you stand up straight, but this 8oz denim easy tuck pants are made from a material you can wear without any fuss. Thanks to the relaxed shape, they don't cling to the skin, and true to their name, they really are easy pants to wear. They're perfect for right now, but with a thickness that also works for autumn, I completely understand why they're called seasonless.

On me, at just under 160cm, the hem falls to about the top of my foot. It looks cute paired with heel-less pumps or sneakers, with the fabric gathering a bit at the ankle, and I think it would also look nice with the hem folded up."
