An original cotton light poplin dolman gathered dress for a classic style

Our original dress has arrived, with its classic design, fabric, and range of colors that suit lovely streets and buildings so well.

A washed-out look, just like vintage

When we picked up this dress, what we noticed was its slightly textured feel. The fabric is a cotton light poplin, carefully finished by artisans with years of accumulated experience. By taking the time to work and soften the raw fabric in small batches, the process allows it to relax into a distinctive surface texture. In the final stage, the fabric is worked and softened even further down to its core, achieving a soft, plump feel to the touch. And by avoiding tension during the drying process, the finish creates a washed-out expression reminiscent of vintage fabric.

Making the most of this soft, fluffy material, we created a gathered dress with dolman sleeves. Gathers of just the right volume at the neckline and cuffs make it easy for adults to wear, and the beautiful silhouette makes it a dress you'll want to reach for whether in daily life or for special occasions when you want to dress up a bit. Seam pockets are set into both sides so as not to disrupt the silhouette.

The range of colors, which you don't often see elsewhere, is also appealing. PURPLE, with its classic feel, is a stylish shade that seems to blend a warm charcoal with a reddish purple. GREY is a gentle color that suits the skin well, like grey with a single drop of pink-beige added. It goes wonderfully with everyday life as well as historic buildings you might visit while sightseeing, making you look forward to taking photographs.
