Even sleeping under a boa sheet with a hot water bottle and a warm futon in winter, we sometimes found ourselves waking up feeling stuffy and overheated. So we decided to try linen pajamas.

Linen (asa) is a material that quickly absorbs sweat and dries with a crisp, breathable feel. When we actually wore linen pajamas, we found that they resisted stuffiness not only in midsummer but also on winter nights warmed by bedding, letting us sleep comfortably through to morning. Realizing that linen is a material that supports comfortable sleep throughout the year, we created a simple linen pajama that many people can wear and love with ease.

Linen chosen for the comfort it gives against the skin

Because this is something worn every day, the feel against the skin matters. For these pajamas, we chose a fabric using 100% French linen for both the warp and weft threads. Highly breathable and quick-drying even when you sweat, it keeps a crisp, comfortable feel throughout wear. It also has a cool touch, making it especially pleasant during the hotter months.

Linen is naturally a somewhat crisp material, but this fabric has been given a cool-crush finish.

By carefully tumbling and softening the fabric with an air tumbler, the fibers become plump and take on a soft texture. From the very first wear, it feels gentle and comfortable against the skin, and it becomes even softer with each wash.

A shape designed for relaxed comfort

Care has been taken down to the smallest details to make these pajamas easy to wear. The overall fit is relaxed and roomy, designed to avoid constricting the body.

The impression of the shirt changes depending on how the top button is fastened—left open, it feels light and casual; buttoned all the way up, it takes on a more composed, tidy look.

The waist is fully elasticized. With no pockets, the area around the waist stays neat and unobtrusive, so it won't get in the way as you turn over in your sleep.

The pants' waist includes an opening for replacing the elastic. You can adjust the length of the elastic to your liking, or swap it out if it stretches out over time.

These pajamas fit naturally not only into sleep time but also into everyday moments at home—before getting ready in the morning, or during a relaxed stretch of time on a day off. They strike a balance that feels less formal than outdoor clothing, yet never sloppy, making them the kind of thing you naturally reach for.

Two natural, skin-friendly colors

The pajamas come in two colors, KINARI and GREY, both calm tones that bring out linen's natural character. The natural KINARI gives a gentle impression, while GREY creates an elegant, refined mood.
