Innerwear is something we put on every day. Even when we want to be particular about it, since it's hidden beneath our clothes, unlike our outerwear, it's easy to let it slip down our list of priorities. But precisely because it touches our skin directly every day, finding something close to our ideal can become an essential ingredient of a comfortable daily life.

When planning this innerwear collection, we first thought about what we wanted from innerwear. A comfortable, well-fitted feel against the body; a stress-free touch on the skin; and durability that resists wearing out even after repeated washing. Since these are items we use every day, none of these qualities can be compromised. Especially in the spring and summer seasons, there are moments when innerwear is meant to peek out through layering, so cut and color also become important points to consider.

We wanted to take these small but important wishes to heart and deliver innerwear that could be worn comfortably and enjoyed every day. Born from that desire are the ZUTTO original Lace Camisole and Tank Top we're introducing today.
This innerwear collection was created in partnership with OTT-TRICOT, a German innerwear specialist maker. OTT-TRICOT was founded in Germany in 1952, and currently operates manufacturing plants in both Germany and Hungary.

Backed by more than 50 years of tradition, OTT-TRICOT's approach to craftsmanship has earned high praise not only within Germany but across Europe, making it a maker whose quality speaks for itself. Among its offerings, camisoles and tank tops like this original innerwear—made with soft cotton fabric trimmed with slightly glossy Swiss lace—are practically synonymous with the brand. Elegant, yet never losing its gentleness: this is the image OTT-TRICOT has built for itself over the years.

To achieve a stress-free feel against the skin, this innerwear features a circular-knit body with no seams at the sides.

Ordinary innerwear is made by cutting the front and back panels and sewing them together, which leaves seams on both sides that rub against the skin. Circular knitting, on the other hand, uses a suspended knitting machine that spins the thread in a continuous circle, shaping the fabric to follow the contours of the body, so there are no seams running vertically. Taking the extra time to knit slowly results in a fabric that feels airy, retaining the natural softness of the thread itself.

OTT-TRICOT is deeply particular not only about the way its fabric is knitted, but also about the materials themselves. From the main fabric to the thread used for the lace, everything carries the OEKO-TEX certification mark, meaning every raw material and every stage of production has passed a rigorous set of standards. OEKO-TEX is a standard that guarantees a product "does not contain harmful substances at levels that pose a risk to the human body." It functions as a kind of "safety mark" for textile products, much like the JAS mark for food or the JIS mark for industrial goods in Japan. We tend to assume that natural fibers are inherently safer than synthetic ones, but the reality is that even natural materials often rely heavily on pesticides and chemical fertilizers when produced on a large scale. By earning this certification, the fabric clearly demonstrates that it is gentle on both the body and the planet, and can be worn with complete peace of mind.
While staying true to comfort and material quality, we didn't want this innerwear to simply be something hidden away. With the idea that it might also be shown off intentionally when layered with other clothing, we sewed beautiful, delicate Swiss-made lace along the neckline. Adding this piece to the simple innerwear you already own will instantly expand the range of your styling options.
The camisole has lace sewn along the neckline and the back. When choosing this lace, the most important quality we looked for was stretch. Because the neckline of a camisole is cut straight and the straps are thin, the front can gape open, but by choosing lace with stretch, this area fits closer to the body and is less prone to opening up.
The tank top, designed with the back view in mind as well, features lace running around the entire neckline. For the lace design, we chose a delicate, open-work pattern that blends naturally with the skin. It's a lovely lace pattern reminiscent of clusters of small flowers, but because the motif is small, it adds just the right accent without being overly sweet.

It's also stylish worn beneath a skipper shirt for a subtle peek, or paired with a cardigan left boldly open at the front. For grown-up women who want to avoid anything overly cute while still keeping a hint of femininity, this innerwear fits the bill perfectly. It's a piece you'll want to reach for every day—not only to enjoy a personal indulgence hidden from view, but also as a key element for layering with your outerwear.

The colors come in simple white and black, both of which pair easily with any outfit. You might choose a color that contrasts with your clothes for a bit of accent, or deliberately match colors for a chic, coordinated look. Of course one color is fine, but we also recommend picking up both colors so you can choose whichever suits the top you're wearing that day.
【Wash in a laundry net】
The lace parts in particular tend to catch on other laundry, so please always place the item in a laundry net before washing.
【Avoid tumble drying】
Because this is a delicate fabric, the pulling force from various directions during tumble drying can damage it. After washing, reshape the garment and dry it in the shade.
