The biggest highlight is the fit you feel when wearing it. It brings to mind the image of fitness leggings translated into a thin tank top. The snug, cinched feeling naturally straightens your spine, giving you the sensation of standing up straighter with better posture.

That said, the snugness never feels constricting—instead, there's a reassuring sense that your shoulders naturally relax, letting you stand or sit with ease. It has a smooth, flexible stretch, and there's none of the forced feeling you get from posture-correcting products.

There's a slight see-through quality, so if you'd rather not have your inner wear show through, we recommend the camisole with built-in cups.

What kind of day would you want to wear this?

For sizing, we recommend S for those who are on the slimmer side, and M for those with an average build. Since the silhouette is compact, choosing a larger size is also fine if you prefer a looser fit. One of our staff members who usually wears M (156cm, 48kg) found the M size to be a perfect fit.

icebreaker Siren Camisole

Merino wool 83%, nylon 12%, polyurethane 5%

What we appreciated most was the length. In daily movements like crouching or stretching, it's a common experience to have your top ride up and expose your midriff, requiring you to tuck it back in—but this camisole is free from that concern entirely. Among the inner wear we're introducing this time, it's on the longer side, allowing you to tuck it securely into your bottoms.

Also, one of our staff members, who has sensitive skin and usually struggles with wool inner wear, found this one to be perfectly fine. The fibers are so fine—described as super microfiber—that even touching it by hand, you'd never guess it contains wool, given how smooth it feels. And yet, the benefits of wool are still fully at work.

It has a fitted feel that stretches along with your body's movements. Sizing runs XS = equivalent to Japanese S, S = equivalent to Japanese M, and since it has stretch, your usual size should work fine.

The first thing you notice is how well it stretches. Before putting it on, the narrow shape made us wonder if it might feel tight, but that wasn't the case at all—the torso section stretches to more than twice its original size. With a loose, body-hugging fit, we felt it truly brought out the benefits of whole garment construction (seamless at the sides).

That said, those with sensitive skin who tend to itch from even the smallest irritation—like the brand tag on the back or the seams and washing tag at the sides—often tend to avoid lace. Individual experiences vary, but as someone with sensitive skin myself, I felt reassured by ROSEMUNDE. That's because the lace is sewn so that the seams don't touch the skin, reducing the itchiness that's usually the culprit. In fact, many of our staff members with sensitive skin reported that it didn't bother them at all.
