5/8 STUDIOS creates simple yet sophisticated jewelry based on the concept of "salt and pepper to add style." Created by a Japanese female designer based in New York, the jewelry brand complements everyday style 365 days a year.

The collection features a wide variety of items, including ear cuffs, rings, and necklaces. This time, we've carefully selected some of their most popular pieces. Since these pieces cannot be mass-produced, they will be made in quantities only available through a pre-order event.

This necklace features a striking dome-shaped motif. Natural stones and gold accents are hand-set on a silver base. Each piece is individually crafted by artisans, allowing you to appreciate the intricacy of their craft. When worn, the understated design, with each accent pointing diagonally downward, resembles the phases of the moon. Like a small monument, it looks beautiful from any angle, and we recommend layering them on different chain lengths.

Available in three colors. Snow Flake is a monotone natural stone with a black base and gray flecks resembling snowflakes. African Opal is a unique natural stone with a milky beige base and a variety of colors, including pink, brown, and black. Silver 925 is layered with white white gold (10K) for an elegant design that combines subtlety and nuance with a touch of glamour.

Jewelry is a special object for many people. That's why at 5/8 STUDIOS, we strive to infuse our materials with deep meaning. With this in mind, we use "refined metal." The quality and origin of the silver and gold used in jewelry are often unclear. That's why 5/8 STUDIOS uses materials that have been rigorously certified by the Japan Refine Metal Association.

Refined Metal is made by refining precious metals extracted from retired mobile phones, computers, and other devices into the highest quality jewelry. We value the cycle of tools that support our daily lives being reborn in new forms and becoming a part of our everyday lives. While environmental awareness is becoming a commonplace value in the fashion world, 5/8 STUDIOS's goal is not simply to create eco-friendly products. In addition to sustainability, we are committed to timeless designs and reliable manufacturing methods, creating jewelry that enhances the wearer's individuality.

Like salt and pepper on a dish

5/8 STUDIOS began in 2020, creating samples in a New York apartment. While designing clothes and accessories for apparel brands in New York and Tokyo, the designer realized the importance of adding the finishing touch to a look. Jewelry can dramatically change the overall look of an outfit. For example, even a casual T-shirt and jeans look can be transformed into a sophisticated look by adding a piece of jewelry and pairing it with high-quality shoes and a leather bag. Like the salt and pepper you sprinkle on a dish, jewelry adds that final touch of spice to an outfit.

However, the ideal jewelry that can fulfill this role is surprisingly rare. This realization was what inspired me to launch my brand.

As I continued to create jewelry while learning techniques at a jewelry studio in New York, I began to receive requests to purchase my pieces, and so I officially launched my brand. It was my experience designing clothing and accessories that convinced me that jewelry is more than just an accessory; it complements and complements fashion, like the "salt and pepper" that brings it into harmony. Jewelry is an extension of fashion design, craftsmanship, and everyday life. It is this practical, contemporary design that blends seamlessly into each individual style and brings out individuality.
