In recent years, the development of wear made from cut-and-sew fabric has become active, and it has become one of the truly important elements of clothing making.
Being able to enjoy stylish looks while still feeling comfortable is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
The fabric we've chosen this time comes from a region that boasts the top domestic production of knit fabric in Japan—
the Kinan Meriyasu (Kinan Knitting) factory in Wakayama,
which creates exquisite fabric developed with some of the finest technical skill found in Japan.
Though simple, it offers a texture and feel unlike anything else.
When people hear the word "knit," many probably picture cardigans or sweaters,
but "knit" is actually a general term for knitted fabric, used broadly in jerseys, T-shirts, underwear, and even bags—
a stretchy fabric also known in Japan as meriyasu.
Founded in 1930 in Wakayama, the Kinan Meriyasu factory
has handled production of knit and cut-and-sew garments for numerous major overseas fashion houses.

Not only the fabric, but every small detail of pattern and specification
has been carefully worked out through extensive consultation with professional makers, combining a wide range of experience and expertise.
Through repeated prototyping—adjusting hem lengths, slit depths, button materials, and more—
every item has achieved a design that is simple yet has real depth.

A high-neck design that keeps the neckline from looking loose.
The fabric is a soft, pleasant-to-the-touch material developed by the Kinan Meriyasu factory
using some of the finest technical skill found in Japan.
A border cut-and-sew finished with a distinctly feminine feel.
With half-length dolman sleeves and a relaxed body,
the hem is folded and gathered with tucks, creating a well-balanced silhouette.
Waffle Half-Sleeve Cut-and-Sew
A cut-and-sew top in waffle fabric that feels comfortable against bare skin during the warmer spring and summer months.
Its understated design, featuring only a chest pocket, lets accessories stand out beautifully.
You can wear it breezily even on hot summer days.

Waffle Long-Sleeve Cut-and-Sew
A long-sleeve version made from the same fabric as the half-sleeve style.
While thermal shirts tend to carry a masculine image,
this one features a Henley-neck front placket, adding a feminine touch.

Uraki (Brushed Fleece) Pullover
Made from uraki, a fleece-backed fabric popular both as outerwear and roomwear,
this pullover has a smooth, suede-like texture.
The cuffs are slightly rolled up to reveal a glimpse of the fabric's reverse side.

Uraki (Brushed Fleece) Wide Pants
Wide pants that can be paired as a set with the Uraki Pullover.
They feature a smooth texture and a silhouette that falls cleanly and straight.
Made with fine-count cotton, whose fibers are thinner than chino and don't become heavy with sweat or humidity.
The hem isn't flared too wide, making it easy to balance the proportions even for those who aren't tall.
Pants that taper slightly toward the hem.
A highlight is the brass buttons, faithfully reproduced from designs seen in the 1920s.
We exchanged countless ideas along the way to completion, imagining many different kinds of people, and repeated prototype after prototype.
We truly hope you'll wear these pieces in many different scenes, and that they'll become garments you can cherish for years to come—
that would make us very happy indeed.
