What stands out is the square neckline. When worn alone, this neckline design shows off the décolletage beautifully.

Even with basic pieces, a design with a bit of a distinctive feature can sometimes leave you wondering if it will suit you—but this square neck has just the right degree of openness.

Square necks are generally cut wide, extending nearly to the shoulders, so some people may find them difficult to choose. This T-shirt was designed to address that concern, with a neckline that opens just the right amount.

As you can see, the neckline opens about as much as a standard crew neck. And yet it still shows off the décolletage beautifully, making it lovely paired with a necklace.

Made using rare American-grown organic cotton

For the fabric, we used a striped jersey material knitted from USA organic cotton with reliable traceability.

Traceability means being able to know when, where, and by whom a product was made. This cotton is a new type of organic cotton that comes with "scientific proof of organic origin."

This fabric uses organic cotton grown in the United States by a major Italian shirt fabric manufacturer.

Many of you probably already know that organic cotton itself is extremely rare to begin with. So what about American-grown organic cotton? It accounts for just 2.8% of organic cotton (which itself is only 1.2% of all cotton). In other words, it's an extraordinarily rare cotton on a global scale.

Also, most organic cotton is harvested by hand, which makes it difficult to avoid the mixing in of brown husks and other fibers surrounding the cotton boll. This USA organic cotton, however, is harvested using specialized machinery, which is another notable feature, as it greatly reduces the risk of contamination.

We're delighted that it has just the right amount of stretch—not too restrictive—making it easy to put on and take off.

A light, layerable feel

With its slightly thin thickness, it offers a comfortable feel like a spring breeze. On chilly days, our staff especially recommends pairing it with an outer layer such as a cardigan. In addition to the smooth, dry, high-quality touch of this special cotton, the sleeves are designed with a compact three-quarter length, so it can also be worn coolly into early summer.

Its relaxed fit doesn't cling to the body, so it also looks wonderful layered, with an inner layer peeking out at the neck and sleeves. Thanks to the clean lines of the square neck, it pairs nicely with collared inner tops and turtlenecks as well.

The shoulder parts are double-folded to prevent stretching. The finished product has undergone a wash treatment, making it easy to care for at home and durable enough for long-term use.
