Wrapped in warmth. The KLIPPAN 2016AW exclusive stoles

Each year, our exclusive KLIPPAN stoles have been well received.

They are made by KLIPPAN, a Swedish textile maker known for its absolute quality,

upholding strict environmental standards throughout production.

Just as each person has their own favorite colors, the items they want to bring into their outfits

and the styles they love vary endlessly from person to person.

That's why this year we've created an exclusive order

with a rich variety of designs to suit many different tastes.

Including new patterns, there are four exclusive stole items this season.

We hope that wrapping yourself in this warmth will bring

a comforting sense of ease to your heart as well.

First, the Quilt Tibetan stole catches the eye with its vivid colors.

It features a warm red reminiscent of fireplace flames, finished with ivory fringe.

The well-matched combination of red and ivory seems to brighten your mood the moment you put it on.

The Quilt Tibetan also features a line of small connected dots, a zigzag border,

and a lattice-like pattern, with a variety of designs decorating a single piece,

letting you enjoy a bold yet somehow familiar, distinctly Nordic pattern.

The front is fitted with a wooden button, and this type comes without pockets.

Its brightness makes it the star of any outfit the moment you throw it on.

Red, the quintessential warm color, stands out brightly amid winter clothing dominated by dark tones like black and brown,

bringing out a lovely charm, which also makes it a wonderful winter gift.

The second new pattern for 2016 is this Rumba Warm Gray.

Though it's called gray, it leans strongly toward blue, creating an exquisite shade close to purple.

Some may think cool colors feel cold in winter…

but there's no need to worry, since the fluffy texture of the wool in Rumba Warm Gray creates its own warmth.

The regular pattern of vertically arranged dots also

adds a sense of calm to the overall color scheme.

ZUTTO's particular attention to detail shows in the button area.

The thread used to sew the gray button on the front is a pale yellow.

Even in this small detail, we chose a color that stands out beautifully against the gray.

Since it has no pockets, it makes for a lovely stole whether you drape it over your shoulders

or wrap it around your neck like a muffler.

The Jazz series, which debuted in 2015, was very well received.

Characterized by finely detailed herringbone patterns and monotone gradations,

this series includes Jazz White, continuing from last season, and

the newly created Jazz Black, based on a black tone.

At first glance, the Jazz series appears to feature many colors—black, gray, and white—

yet it's all unified in monotone.

What makes this design so good is how naturally it sits against the skin when worn, never clashing with other clothing.

Each stole has pockets on both sides,

so you can keep your smartphone and other items in them when you go out.

Jazz White is fitted with gray buttons and red stitching,

giving it an accent and a stylish air.

Jazz Black, on the other hand, has both buttons and stitching unified in monotone, finished to be thoroughly chic.

Creating vibrancy through color is wonderful, but sometimes letting monotone bring out the surroundings works just as well.

A styling like that carries a certain mature sense of ease.

All of the exclusive KLIPPAN stoles are made from lambswool.

As they tend to be on the thicker side,

we recommend wearing them in place of a jacket until the depths of winter arrive.

Left: RACCOON Crew Neck Pullover (CAMEL)

A red stole pairs well with ivory or brown tones,

so try matching it with a sweater or cardigan in a similar shade.

Wool stoles also pair easily with cotton pieces, as well as knits made of wool or mohair,

making them a great finishing touch for the season's outfits ahead.

Left: LADIES BAND COLLAR SHIRTS (Herringbone/Ol)

Since each piece features a finely detailed pattern,

it won't look too busy when paired with a plain outfit.

With a monotone stole, choosing a shirt with color can look wonderful too.

Pairing it with a stole adds a fresh accent to your usual look.

What did you think of the KLIPPAN 2016AW exclusive stoles?

We hope you've found a favorite piece among them.

Now, to enjoy your wool stole for a long time to come,

let's go over the characteristics of wool and how to care for it.

◇Wool is highly water-resistant and naturally resists dirt.

There's no need to be too particular about it—except when it becomes noticeably soiled,

caring for it once per season should be enough.

◇KLIPPAN stoles can be washed at home.

Use a wool-specific laundry detergent and wash in water that feels a little cold to the touch.

Afterward, wrap the item in a towel to remove excess water, or run it through a short spin cycle in the washing machine,

then let it dry. *Please do not use a dryer.

◇Dry cleaning is also possible.

◇When storing the item, we recommend using it together with a moth repellent.

If the smell of the moth repellent bothers you the next time you use it,

hang it to air out for a while in a well-ventilated spot, and the smell will fade.
