Located in northeastern Europe, Lithuania has an environment well suited to growing quality flax, and linen production has traditionally flourished there. Fine linen born of techniques passed down since the Middle Ages is known as "Lithuanian linen," and it has been drawing attention both within the country and abroad.

The brand originally began as a linen fabric export business, and drawing on that knowledge and network of linen fabric, LINEN TALES started designing and producing its own linen products in 2013.
