Keeping the durable, fully sewn (honnui) construction of a traditional zabuton (floor cushion), we've created a honnui "kozabu" cushion that also suits life with a sofa.
Ponpindo, a studio that applies an Edo-katazome (a traditional Edo-era resist-dyeing technique) arrangement to their omamori pouches and zabuton cushions, has sent us their "hon-nui koza-bu cushion." Based on the hon-nui koza-bu (small zabuton cushion) that we also carry at ZUTTO, they reworked its Japanese-style design into a Western-style look that fits well with modern living, and had it made especially for us.
