As the weather turns cooler, we find ourselves reaching for socks more often. Whether it's the cotton pairs we wear all year round or the wool-blend ones we've just taken out of seasonal storage, a closer look often reveals worn-through toes and heels, or elastic cuffs that have lost their snugness. This time, we're featuring rasox, a long-selling brand here at ZUTTO. We take a closer look at the comfort that has so many people hooked after just one wear.

ARATA is a Kyoto brand that creates accessories making the most of washi (Japanese paper)'s warm texture and light weight, and washi pearls are among their creations. Though understated, they carry a distinctive presence all their own, and compared to jewel pearls, they're a material you can wear more casually. This time, in the hope of making these washi pearls into a design that's even easier to use in everyday life, we asked ARATA to develop a special, smaller version of the washi pearl exclusively for us.

During autumn and winter, when layered clothing and cold-weather accessories tend to weigh you down, we asked ARTS&CRAFTS to make a bag that would at least be light and easy to carry. This special order was designed around the concept of "traveling light, feeling free." What resulted are two items: a "handbag" and a "waist pouch." Each takes advantage of the lightness of horse leather, resulting in compact, easy-to-carry pieces.

Many people are drawn to scarves with beautiful colors and patterns, but hesitate to actually work them into their outfits, worried they might look too flashy. With this in mind, we asked hatsutoki, a maker working with Banshu-ori (a textile tradition from the Banshu region), to create a special-order solid-colored scarf that's easy to wear as your "first scarf." In this feature, we introduce ways to incorporate this special-order stole, made from hatsutoki's fabric—solid in color yet distinctive in material, with a beautiful depth of hue—into your everyday styling.

This time, we asked HARIO Lampwork Factory (ハリオ・ランプワーク・ファクトリー), a maker beloved among ZUTTO customers, to create hair ties and bracelets exclusively for ZUTTO, and we're excited to introduce them here.

Hanamokko is the watch brand handmade in Kanazawa city of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Using mineral pigments, the watches have absolute beauty that Japan has inherited for over centuries.

This time, we visited Mitsuwa Glass Art, a workshop where Edo kiriko (traditional cut glass) is born, to observe the production process of Edo kiriko—and even try our hand at it ourselves. Glass products tend to carry an image of fragility, but the process of applying such precise, delicate cutting completely overturned our preconceived notions about glass.

They're also one of the things that get dirty most easily, yet compared to clothing—which we can wash every day—the frequency of care they receive inevitably ends up being much lower. This time, we're introducing the summer skincare proposed by SAVONNIÈRE, a brand born in the Provence region of France. Along with an interview, we'll explore a skincare approach that discerns what truly matters and what the skin really needs, guiding it toward healthy, vibrant skin.

Bedding, towels, and baby items are things you wash every time they get sweaty. What you want to choose is a material that "absorbs sweat well and dries quickly after washing." Kyowazarashi mensha (Kyoto-bleached cotton gauze) gauze has excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, along with a softness that feels as light as air.

As a grounding touch for summer fashion—where colorful accessories and other spice-like accent pieces tend to take center stage—we commissioned REN to create a special line of mini leather bags. Made with a new goat leather, three items have arrived that achieve both presence and a sense of lightness: a drawstring pouch bag, a gamaguchi (clasp-frame) bag, and a mini wallet.

FOB FACTORY (エフオービー ファクトリー) is a denim brand that keeps making products designed to reveal their true value only after years of wear. This time, as a special order item, we used the brand's ever-popular 【RELAX DENIM】 to rework its classic denim skirt into a version with a more comfortable, relaxed feel.

As temperatures climb higher and higher, this is the season when you can't help but feel things building toward their peak—and for this time of year, we'd like to recommend an original line of clothing born from a collaboration between hatsutoki, a Banshu-ori (a traditional yarn-dyed textile) brand based in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, and ZUTTO. These pieces, woven from Banshu-ori, are full of the richness of nature.
